The IGRES is a high-performance 4WD racing baby carriage that was created in 1989 as an upgrade to the iconic Tamiya Avante electric RC car. This electric RC car assembly kit of the Ingress Black Edition is a special model that retains the same basic configuration but has been updated with various parts to suit the modern RC scene. Compared to the silver-based original IGRES, the Black Edition features a bold black color with white and blue coloring. The front and rear dampers and front uprights have been changed to dark titanium anodized aluminum to match the body color, and the 6-spoke wheels are coordinated with the silver color to tighten up the undercarriage.

Highly rigid shaft drive 4WD chassis with many carbon parts

The chassis is a carbon double-deck chassis, boasting high rigidity that is undaunted by torsion. The longitudinally mounted motor and shaft drive 4WD powertrain is a full bearing specification. The original design of the front and rear ball differentials has been redesigned for smoother operation, easier maintenance, and greater durability. In addition, one-way bearings are built into the drive gears for a torque splitter effect for straightforward handling. It is also possible to replace the one-way bearing with a locking type. Furthermore, the universal shaft, which is the most heavily used part of the drivetrain, incorporates the same structure as the current TRF series, resulting in smooth drive and high reliability. The suspension is a double wishbone with 4 independent wheels. Four oil dampers with aluminum cylinders are equipped, and stabilizers are installed front and rear. The front uprights are made of high-strength machined aluminum. The steering system is equipped with ball bearings on the wiper arm shafts and 2.0mm thick carbon plates for linear handling. Of course, the brushless motor, which is currently the mainstream, can also be used to enjoy the excellent driving performance.
