 This Wild One Offroader was customized by graphic designer JUN WATANABE, who is also known as a big Tamiya RC fan. Compared to the original version, which was notable for its wide and low body structure and wild black and red coloring, the Wild One Off-Roader BLOCKHEAD MOTORS features a bright light blue color that makes off-road driving exciting. Moreover, the polycarbonate body is painted and cut in light blue. Window net, number plate, and dummy antenna add to the driving excitement. Of course, the BLOCKHEAD MOTORS logo, the mascot mark of the friendly turtles, and many sponsor marks are available as stickers.

 The frame is a light and durable ABS resin box type. The battery case is compatible with 7.2V racing packs as well as LF batteries. 4-wheel independent suspension with single trailing arm and wide tread. Both front and rear are equipped with aluminum cylinder oil dampers, with the front damper mount also made of aluminum. The gear case mounted at the rear end is a sealed type that shuts out the intrusion of sand and pebbles that are common in off-road driving. A differential gear is built in to ensure smooth cornering. The driveshaft joints are dogbone type with excellent wear resistance, and dust boots are also provided to enhance driving reliability. Moreover, JUN's attention to detail is also found in the chassis. The roll bar is silver with insert-molded metal parts. Chrome parts are used on the wheels, front and rear suspension arms, side guards, and gear box to give it a metallic look.

JUN WATANABE is a designer who works in a wide range of fields, from graphic design to product design, with a focus on the fashion world. He has designed many collaborative models, and is also active as an artist who creates paintings and video works. An avid Tamiya fan since childhood, he is still a creator who loves RC cars, and in 2012 released the Tamiya “Hornet by JUN WATANABE,” an RC car with polka dots, as well as Tamiya's apparel goods.
