A New Legend Begins! Avante
 The Avante is an electric RC 4WD racing baby carriage that was developed in 1988 with a view to competing in the big races, fully utilizing Tamiya's technology and the luxury of high-performance mechanisms and high-quality materials. The Avante (2011) is a reissued version of this machine that retains the basic structure of the original, but has been improved to meet the needs of the modern R/C scene: carbon parts are used to increase strength, the oil damper is easier to service, and the hex hubs that hold the camlock wheels in place are pin-type. In addition, the packaging is the same as the original model, and the Avante (2011), with its brushed-up parts, is now ready to start a new legend.

High-quality, race-conscious longitudinal motor shaft 4WD chassis 
 The chassis for the longitudinal motor shaft 4WD has been changed from an FRP double-deck frame to a 2mm-thick carbon upper and lower chassis. 3.5mm-thick carbon rear damper stays also ensure high strength. The 4WD system is a 3-differential configuration with ultra-compact planetary-type differentials in the front and rear and a ball differential in the center to protect the gears from strong impacts. 23 ball bearings are installed in total to minimize drive loss. The suspension is a 4-wheel double wishbone type, with metal threaded shafts and ball ends for highly precise and delicate length adjustment. The radius arm protectors that absorb sudden shocks and protect the arms and cam lock wheels are also retained.
