The FH series, Volvo's flagship model, was voted European Truck of the Year in 1994. This kit is an electric radio control car model of the FH12 Globe Trotter 420, which has a long high cab body. The imposing form of the cab-over type is reproduced with full realism. The chassis configuration with many metal parts for the ladder frame and leaf springs is also an attractive feature of the kit. The power from the front-mounted motor is transmitted from the 3-speed transmission to the rear wheels via a propeller shaft. The power train is exactly the same as that of the actual car. Of course, the 3-speed transmission can be changed while the car is running, adding to the fun of driving the car.
